Like many other Children’s Orchard franchise owners, Carol Fisher’s love for the store started long before she actually bought into the business. She was actually a customer for nine years before she bought a franchise location in Torrance, CA in 2005.

“I found Children’s Orchard when my daughter was born nine years ago,” Fisher said.  “Now, almost everything I buy is resale, even my own clothes.”

Friday saw more than 90 people lined up outside the Ann Arbor Children’s Orchard waiting to be the first to be a part of the Fill A Bag For $5 sale. Children’s Orchard M.O.M.S. Club members (the free Members Only Money Savers club) were able to get first crack at the hundreds of children’s clothing and toy items that were available. Every item that they could stuff and pack into the bag was theirs for $5.
