On December 5th, Children’s Orchard held its annual Fall Fill-a-Bag event. And, what an event it was! All over the country, customers came out in droves to stuff their bags full of terrific Children’s Orchard clearance items and all sorts of other fantastic deals on kids resale clothing, toys, furniture and accessories.
Carol Fisher, owner of the Children’s Orchard store in Torrance, CA, said a customer approached her during the sale and asked her if she owned the store. She said, “yes.” The customer hugged her and said thank you for making Fill-a-bag available to the community. It’s amazing how much our customers love the Fill-a-Bag event!
Carol had 60+ people in line when the store opened. She allowed customers to buy one bag for $4 with a canned good donation. Not only is she helping her customers but also her community; nice job Carol!
Christie Gosch and Dan Morris’, owners of the Children’s Orchard store in Springfield, MO usually have their early shop the Friday evening before the Fill-a-Bag event. This year they switched it up a bit and held it on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. They had over 300 people waiting in line. They had 1,000 bags ready to go, by 10 a.m. they had to recycle them back to the door. Congratulations Christie and Dan on another terrific Fill-a-Bag event!
Liz Lampe, the owner of the Children’s Orchard in West Allis, WI received the following email after her Fill-a-Bag event.
